The new Headway Centre boasts a large communal area, training area, spacious kitchen, a quiet area of refuge, an office, and two fully wheelchair accessible bathrooms. The previous Coquitlam location posed many obstacles for mobility challenged Members including lack of proper kitchen facilities, inaccessible bathroom, and stairs to the office and back entrance. The new Headway is a definite improvement being all ground floor level and providing much needed additional square footage. We hope that the new Headway will draw increased Membership from the surrounding area and that existing Members will follow the centre to its new location.
